Community Leases Policy
The Community Leases Policy was adopted by Council in April 2017.
The policy provides information that will help you understand whether you, or your group, are eligible to apply for a community lease to occupy Council-owned reserves (sports grounds, parks or open spaces) and how to go about it.
Community leases may be granted for a range of reasons related to Council’s community outcomes and potentially provide for community groups to develop tracks, facilities, and clubrooms etc on Council land, as long as it is on a non-profit basis.
