Horowhenua District Council reviews its committee structure after each triennial election to ensure it aligns with how Council wishes to go about the business of setting strategic direction and the decision making process.

At its meeting on 10 December 2025 Council adopted the Council Committee Structure for the 2025-2028 triennium and the appointments to those committees for the first 18 months of this triennium.
