Request a meeting with the Mayor
If you would like to talk directly with the Mayor about a matter that’s important to you, please fill in our online meeting request form.
What we need from you:
- your full name
- your contact details
- a short description of what you want to discuss.
We will review your request and contact you to arrange a meeting time.

Invite the Mayor to an event
If you would like the Mayor to attend your event, please fill in our online invitation form.
Important:
- make sure your event is at least 14 days away when you submit your request.
- if the Mayor can't attend, another elected representative might attend instead.

How to address the Mayor
The Mayor's formal title is "His Worship the Mayor of Horowhenua". However, the Mayor prefers being called “Mayor Bernie” or "Bernie".
