Horowhenua Tertiary Education Scholarship

Looking for a unique work experience? How about Local Government? If you can answer yes to the three questions below, you are eligible to apply for a Horowhenua District Council Tertiary Education Scholarship. The recipient will receive a $1,000 Scholarship and paid work internship during the 2024-2025 summer break.

  • Are you living in Horowhenua?
  • Are you currently studying for a tertiary qualification? 
  • Are you continuing your study in 2025?

As a scholarship recipient, you will receive:

  • $1,000 toward your tertiary study fees.
  • Paid holiday employment with Horowhenua District Council.
