Horowhenua Mayoral Relief Fund
The Community Events and Programmes Fund provides funding assistance for costs associated with community and social development programmes, one off celebratory, educational, competitive or exhibitive projects and events.
Organising a major event in the Horowhenua District? You might be eligible to apply for Horowhenua Major Events Funding, for support to run your event. This fund also provides for events which may not qualify as a major event but have the potential to transition into a major event over time.
The Operations and Small Assets Fund provides funding assistance for costs associated with enhancing the community though the services or programmes they provide, administrative and operational costs and maintaining or acquiring minor assets.
This fund aims to ensure rural halls across the district are maintained to a safe and functioning standard.
The Horowhenua Waste Minimisation Grant is available to help fund start-up costs of a project that minimises waste in the Horowhenua District, by reducing or reusing waste that would otherwise go to a landfill.
The Shannon Community Development Trust provides funding assistance to the residents of the Shannon township for Community Development initiatives.
