Event Calendar

Horowhenua hosts a variety of cultural, music and sporting events throughout the year. View our Event Calendar for upcoming events.

Anzac Day 2026

Anzac Day is a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served and those who never returned. Join us at ceremonies across Horowhenua as we honour their service and remember their legacy. Lest we forget.

Pop Up Eats

Pop Up Eats is a lively food truck market popular with families, foodies and people wanting a night off cooking. A range of cuisine is on offer at each event depending on the availability of the food trucks.

Organising An Event

Are you wanting to organise an event in Horowhenua? Depending on the size and venue for the event, you may need to provide Horowhenua District Council with notification, apply for a licence or devise a traffic management plan.
