Water Restrictions - Levin & Ōhau

With the increased flow in the Ōhau River and reduced water demand, the restrictions for Levin and Ōhau have been completely lifted, effective immediately. Thank you for your co-operation and efforts in helping to reduce water usage during the water restrictions.

Food Complaints

Sale of Food at Events or Markets

Find information on selling food at events including fairs, markets, sausage sizzles and fundraising stalls, as well as relevant application forms.

Food Business Verification

New food businesses need to be verified (checked) within the first 6 weeks of registration, and regularly after that. Find out more about food business verification.

Mobile Food Businesses

A Mobile food business must be registered with their "home base" Council. Information about how to register your food truck/ mobile business is available here and on the Opening a Food business page.
