Conditional trade waste is any trade waste that doesn’t the meet criteria for permitted trade waste, but doesn’t contain any prohibited substances.
If your business is not a Food business or Automotive business, and your trade waste doesn’t fully meet the permitted criteria, you may need a Conditional Trade Waste Consent.
This consent helps Council manage the risk your discharge may pose to the sewer system or treatment plant.
