Horowhenua District Council’s Parks and Properties team manages the bookings for events held on Council-owned public parks, reserves and recreational spaces.

If you're planning to use a public space, park or reserve for your event, you will need to fill in an application form. The booking process gives Council confidence that activities comply with necessary requirements and legislation, and events are undertaken in a safe manner. A confirmed booking also secures the space, and minimises disruption and impact on other park users.

Hall Bookings

Horowhenua District Council oversees the hire of the Levin Memorial Hall, Foxton Memorial Hall, Shannon Memorial Hall and Holben/Te Wharangi Reserve at Foxton Beach.
