Horowhenua District Council's Alcohol Licensing fees and charges (set by central government legislation) for the 2020/2021 financial year are provided below. These fees and charges were adopted by Council at the 6 May 2020 meeting and are effective from 1 July 2020.

All fees are stated as GST inclusive and are set by legislation. Council reserves the right to review any fees and charges at any time. Please check with Council for any updates.

  • Small Event - less than 100 people
  • Medium Event - 100 to 400 people
  • Large Event - over 400 people

Note:All events on an application must be of a similar nature. For example; Birthday Parties, Fundraisers and Reunions would all need to be on separate applications.

Class 1: 1 large event; or more than 3 medium events; or more than 12 small events. $575.00
