The following application has been received for an alcohol licence. Objections may be made within 25 working days of the publication of this notice (dated 9 December 2025).
Section 101, Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
Shree Nagendra Hospitality Ltd has made application to the District Licensing Committee at Horowhenua District Council for an On Licence in respect of the premises situated at 257-259 Oxford Street, Levin known as Rangoli Authentic Indian Restaurant & Bar. The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is that of a Restaurant.
The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is sold under the licence are:
- Tuesday & Wednesday from 11.30am until 2.30pm and from 4.30pm until 9pm
- Thursday to Saturday from 11.30am until 2.30pm and from 4.30pm until 9.30pm
- Sunday from 11.30am until 2.30pm and from 4.30pm until 9pm.
The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the office of the Horowhenua District Council Main Office, 126 Oxford Street, Levin.
Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the licence may, not later than 25 working days after the date of the publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at Horowhenua District Council, Private Bag 4002, Levin 5540.
No objection to the renewal of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 131 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
Objection period closes 5 February 2026.
