Levin Town Centre Reference Group - Member Nominations and Application

Do you have a keen interest in shaping the future of The Levin Town Centre? Or maybe you know someone that could be an excellent voice for the community?

We are seeking nominations and applications for seven community representative positions to form part of the Levin Town Centre Transformation Reference Group. As a Reference Group member you will be engaged in workshops, represent key groups of our community and give them a voice, challenge ideas and share your unique insights on what will make the Levin Town Centre a better place to live, work, visit or play in. This group is a key part of a dynamic team dedicated to revitalising our town centre, and while it is an unpaid role, the value that you will add to our town centre will be a lasting investment!

Position: Member, The Levin Town Centre Transformation Reference Group (Unpaid)

What are we looking for?

• People who believe their input will be valuable in shaping the town centre
• People with a desire to create a vibrant, sustainable and inclusive town centre for the community
• People with passion for the Levin community and strong communication skills
• Ability to think creatively, work through challenges to identify alternatives and contribute ideas
• Commitment to attending meetings and actively participating in group activities
• Participation in workshops and discussions (approximately 90 minutes per month)
• Attendance and support at community engagement activities (as agreed)
• Contribution of insights and expertise to support the group's objectives

There are seven positions available, therefore all applicants will undergo the following selection process:

• Interested parties invited to complete the application form by 5pm Friday 3 May 2024
• Applications reviewed and short-listed applicants may be requested for a short interview
• All applicants will be advised as to the outcome if they are to form the Levin Town Centre Reference Group
