Anzac Day is a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served and those who never returned.
Join us at ceremonies across Horowhenua as we honour their service and remember their legacy. Lest we forget.
Assemble on Clyde Street, outside Foxton Memorial Hall at 5.30am. The parade will head off to the Cenotaph at 5.45am for a 6am service. In the event of bad weather, the Foxton Dawn Service will be moved to the Foxton Memorial Hall. An announcement will be made on our Facebook page.
Assemble at Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom, 92 Main Street, Foxton at 9am for the Civic Service. The parade will move off to the Cenotaph at 9.35am, marching down Wharf Street, for the wreath ceremony at 9.40am.In the event of bad weather, the Civic Ceremony will take place inside Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom. An announcement will be made on our Facebook page.
