Horowhenua Access and Inclusion Network
The Horowhenua Access and Inclusion Network brings together community members, organisations, and advocates who are passionate about improving access, inclusion and participation for everyone in Horowhenua.
The Network provides a space for people with lived experience, disability advocates and community groups to share ideas, raise issues and work collaboratively on solutions that create a more accessible and inclusive district.
By working together, the Network helps ensure that barriers are identified and addressed, and that the voices of people from diverse backgrounds and with a range of lived experiences are heard and valued in decision-making.
The Horowhenua Access and Inclusion Network contributes to the Horowhenua Community Wellbeing Committee, a Committee of the Horowhenua District Council. This connection helps ensure a coordinated, community-led approach to improving access, inclusion and participation across Horowhenua.
Through regular meetings, connection with Council and community-driven initiatives, the Network supports positive change across Horowhenua. It helps build a community where everyone can participate fully, feel welcome and have equal access to opportunities.
