Tessa Paulin (art and culture)

Tessa Paulin is an energetic young women currently attending Waiopehu College. Tessa is passionate about Asian culture, and this passion has led her to take trips both to Japan and as an ambassador to Thailand; allowing her a world perspective beyond her years. Participating in in a Victoria University model-united nation’s conference, she represented the small African Nation Eritrea; and alongside fellow students worked to solve theoretical world problems.

In her travels she has learned how to sword dance and make Japanese pancakes, among many other wonderful skills. She hopes to use this scholarship to fund a trip to Vietnam as part of a global ambassador program, supporting orphanages in troubled areas.
