Tayla Hansen (sport)

Tayla is a 17 year old with a particular passion for Hockey. Representing both her school and the wider region, she has shown a multitude of skills both in the physical sense, but also in the way she deals with her team, and in the respect shown to her opponents. She has been the top scorer in all of her recent tournaments, and has captained her side to multiple first placings at those same tournaments. Her college dean specifically remarked that she was an exceptional role model for junior students, shown both in her sports, and other aspects also.

The scholarship for Tayla will be put towards her university study. She hopes to become a social worker, particularly focusing on youth.
