Education

Horowhenua District Council’s Long Term Plan 2015 - 2025 (LTP) includes education as one of the community outcomes for our District.

The education community outcomes are:

  • “A community of knowledge, culture and diversity where people are proud to live
  • We invest in the knowledge and skills of our people so they can fully participate in society.
  • We are advocates for the provision of quality social, education, health and training services.”
  • Council supports the vision that Horowhenua is New Zealand’s foremost region in taking joint responsibility for the success of our community through education.”
