Council is responsible for toby repairs or replacements on Council maintained roads and berms. However, Council will not undertake repairs on private property or on a private road unless the toby is located at the Council road frontage, then Council will attend and repair as necessary.

The owner/s are responsible for all maintenance and must arrange for a plumber to undertake repairs. Council can arrange the Council Contractor to attend if requested by an owner, however all costs will be forwarded to the owner/s. Owners must attend to the repair as soon as possible to avoid water wastage. If repairs are not undertaken by the owner in a timely manner Council will conduct repairs and forward an invoice for all costs to prevent any further water wastage.
