Temporary Overnight Water Supply Shutdown - Shannon

We're upgrading the Shannon Wastewater Treatment Plant's pipework, and part of this work requires a temporary overnight water shutdown on Wednesday 1 May 2024. The shutdown hours are from 9pm to 6am and will affect all properties connected to the town water supply in Shannon. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as this project is completed.

Water Conservation - Levin and Ōhau, Foxton & Foxton Beach

Water Conservation Level 2 is in place for Levin and Ōhau from Friday 23 February 2024 until further notice. Water Conservation Level 1 is in place for Foxton and Foxton Beach from Monday 15 April 2024 until further notice. Thank you for conserving water.

WEAVE Cultural Celebration

We're looking for local cultural groups and champions to participate in the upcoming multicultural event, WEAVE, at the Levin Memorial Hall on Saturday 24 June from 7pm to 10pm.

The event aims to showcase and celebrate Horowhenua's diverse and beautiful cultures. Participants are encouraged to showcase their national dress, traditional garments and/or interpretation, accompanied by captivating dance performances, enchanting music, and cuisine from around the world.
