World class blues and folk music with support by Celine Filbee

Zephyr Wills is a classical and folk musician from Aotearoa, New Zealand. He’s returning home for a couple of months after completing his Artistic Diploma at the London Royal College of Music in Viola.  He’ll return to London in late September to attend the Smith Square Symposium.  As a folk musician, he continues to perform his original songs all over the UK and New Zealand, and while in the USA he was announced one of the top ten applicants of the prestigious Bob Dylan Songwriting Fellowship.

The Hurricane Blues Hurricane Shayn Wills and Freddy Limbert are two of the most experienced players in the country.  Between them they have played support for; John Hammond Jnr, BB King, Albert King, Canned Heat, Robert Cray, Junior Wells, Duke Robillard, and The Amazing Rhythm Aces. Wanting a raw and original sound, they’ve developed their own musical style, based on Blues, R&B and Rock’n’roll, and put together a dynamite show to go with it. Beyond genres, this music is about good times – and having fun!

Celine Filbee plays rhythm guitar with a powerhouse vocal performance, she can own the biggest banger, feel the suffering of a blues standard or dial it right back to expose all the sentiment in a ballad.
