Established in 2004 and awarded annually, the Horowhenua Youth Excellence Scholarships aim to reward and celebrate young people's efforts and achievements in the following areas:
These scholarships not only recognise achievements and contributions, but also assist recipients to continue to advance in these areas. A total of 12 x $250.00 scholarships are awarded across the four categories listed above.
Nominations for the 2022 Horowhenua Youth Excellence Scholarships closed at midnight on Sunday, 4 September 2022.
Recipients and their whānau will be invited to attend the Civic Awards evening in November 2022, when the awards will be presented.
