Rebecca Moynihan is record breaking young swimmer who receives her third Youth Scholarship award.

This year Rebecca has competed at a staggering number of national and regional events, including the New Zealand Open Championships, New Zealand Age Group Championships and the New Zealand Short Course Championships, making it to the finals of each competition.

At the New Zealand Age Group Championships Rebecca placed second in the 50m freestyle and won first place in the u17 100m freestyle. As a result, Rebecca was picked for the 2015 New Zealand Youth Development Camp held in Rotorua in October.

At the New Zealand Short Course Championships, Rebecca competed in the u19 category and won gold in the 50m freestyle while setting a new Regional record in her age group at just 25.99 seconds.

In December Rebecca takes her skills trans-tasman to compete in the Queensland State Championships in Brisbane.
