The Cambridge Street North (Levin) wastewater network will be upgraded to accommodate the growing demand projected for North East Levin and to renew the ageing infrastructure.
Work will begin on Monday 19 September 2022. Motorists are advised that stop-go signs will operate until the project is completed. Working hours will be from 7am to 7pm.
Access to entrances and exits on Cambridge Street, from the intersection of Tyne Street to Kennedy Drive, may be restricted – affected businesses and residents will be advised beforehand.
The upgrade of the existing network will both renew the existing pipes and ensure sufficient capacity for future growth.
