Local Government across New Zealand is in a period of significant change. Rising infrastructure costs, water reform and pressure to keep rates affordable mean important decisions lie ahead. Now is the time to help shape Horowhenua’s future. Tell us what matters most and be part of the conversation. Feedback closes at 4pm on Sunday 7 June 2026.
Visit Let's Kōrero Horowhenua
On 11 November, we come together to honour and remember those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. On this day, we will observe a moment of silence to reflect on the courage and resilience of our servicemen and women.
Join us in paying tribute to their legacy at one of our special commemoration events in Foxton and Levin, where we will gather to remember, reflect, and give thanks.
Wear a poppy, share a story, and let’s keep their memory alive. Lest We Forget.
Members of the public, organisations, groups and businesses who wish to be called up to lay a wreath during the commemorations are invited to register their names with Council’s Events Coordinator, Grayson Skerman, on graysons@horowhenua.govt.nz by 5pm Friday 7 November 2025.
