Kids Market | Community Picnic

We have over a dozen stalls showcasing our kids' entrepreneurial skills - candles, cacti, leatherwork, bees wax wraps, beaded bookmarks for that book you get on Christmas Day, and more.

Come into the Scout Hall to appreciate their ideas and the work they're showcasing, there'll be something for everyone.

Remember to picnic with us

There'll be a sausage sizzle, bacon butties, baked goods, fresh juices and a couple of food trucks to give a bit of variety for the picnic.

Activities & Entertainment

After shopping and in between picnicking, there are fun activities to participate in. Illusion Tricking is coming to teach flips, kicks and hooks. We'll also have the Kia Kaha Play Trailer filled with a range of play equipment for all ages.

Robert Kingi has generously offered to coordinate entertainment for the market picnickers, and will be DJ'ing as well - fantastic to have music.

Your checklist for the day

• Cash and coins
• Picnic blanket and your most comfortable picnic gear
• Sunblock and a hat.
