Davey and Celine have a shared love of the blues, a funky groove and beautiful ballads. They have crafted their diverse set around these genres, including originals and covers also encompassing americana and roots music.
Davey’s acute ear and sound experience allow him to distill the very essence of a song and craft arrangements showcasing the underlying groove inherent in his playing. His voice, reserved, yet soulful and resonant along with his sympathetic guitar chops, elevate Celine’s and other songs to a new and sometimes surprising places.
Celine provides rhythm guitar and a powerhouse vocal performance, she can own the biggest banger, feel the suffering of a blues standard or dial it right back to expose all the sentiment in a ballad.
You can expect to laugh at their humorous take on some songs, cry at the beautiful ballads they partner on and be toe tapping to their groove.
