If you see three or more sick or dead wild birds together, please don't touch or move them. Report them to MPI and follow the latest advice.

Horowhenua's annual positive ageing expo is back for 2026.
Age on the Go is held as part of He Hapori Pakari - Strong Communities, our Community Wellbeing Strategy, which supports our vision that older people in Horowhenua are empowered to make choices that enable them to live well and age well.
The expo brings together local services, support organisations, community groups and activities under one roof, covering everything from health and wellbeing to independence, recreation and community connection. Whether you're looking for information, want to connect with local organisations, or simply want a good morning out, there's plenty to see and explore.
The expo will take place at the Horowhenua Events Centre, 33 Victoria Street, Levin, from 10am to 2pm.
