Waitarere Beach Progressive & Ratepayers Association

The Waitarere Beach Progressive & Ratepayers Association (WBPRA) is committed to fostering a strong, vibrant, and connected community. Our goal is to work collaboratively with residents, local authorities, and stakeholders to enhance the quality of life in Waitarere Beach for both residents and visitors.

Our Objectives

Strengthening Community Connections – Promoting positive relationships between the Association and the wider community.
Enhancing Our Environment – Partnering with the Horowhenua District Council and Horizons Regional Council on projects that beautify and improve our surroundings.
Encouraging Growth & Tourism – Supporting initiatives that attract visitors and contribute to the local economy.
Advocating for Residents – Ensuring the interests of ratepayers and residents are represented in key decisions.

How to join

Many people think that joining the WBPRA means they’ll need to attend meetings or give up their time - but that’s not the case, as we have a dedicated committee team that takes care of the day-to-day work. So there is no time commitment or any meetings to attend.

Your subscriptions alone help us fund projects and improvements that benefit everyone here at Waitarere Beach.
