Horowhenua District Council Sports Fields - Temporary Closure

All Horowhenua District Council sports fields are closed for weeknight training for 24 hours from 7am on Tuesday 21 April due to recent heavy rainfall. Fields will be reassessed at 7am on Wednesday 22 April. This precaution helps protect turf conditions and ensures quality playing surfaces throughout the winter season.

Anzac Day

Horowhenua District Council’s main office will be closed on Monday 27 April, the observed Anzac Day public holiday. Residents and visitors are invited to attend Anzac Day observances throughout Horowhenua on Saturday 25 April. There are no changes to Monday kerbside rubbish and recycling collections.
