Habitat for Humanity New Zealand is a not-for-profit organisation that works in partnership with people of goodwill and families in housing need, to eliminate sub-standard housing.
They help build new homes with affordable repayments for families in housing need. A Brush With Kindness is a programme to assist families who own their homes, but struggle with essential maintenance due to low income, disability, age, etc. Projects will have a maximum value of $20,000 and could encompass a wide range of work from fencing through to addition on extra rooms.
