The Mangaore Reserve is made up of multiple land parcels along Blackwood Drive, Mangaore. It consists of a small reserve with a community hall (run by the local residents association), toilets and picnic tables at the base of the hill, a village green at the top of the hill and a bush-clad gully known as 'Snake Gully' with walking tracks.
