Kimberley Reserve is nestled in a bush setting next to the Ōhau river with many popular swimming holes and walking tracks nearby. There are plenty of grassy areas for families to enjoy a picnic, a spot of cricket, touch rugby or take the dog for a walk.
Dogs are allowed off leash, though must be kept under control at all times and kept away from swimmers. Please keep children in direct sight.
There is ongoing pest control work in this reserve. Please keep dogs on a leash and under control at all times. Signage at the reserve provides more detailed information.
Camping is permitted from 1 December - Easter Weekend, subject to availability. There is also a toilet/changing block open during this period.
During the camping season, a permit is required to camp at Kimberly Reserve. The permit can be applied for online, by filling in the Camping Permit application form.
