The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is leading New Zealand's response to H5 bird flu (H5N1). You can help protect our native birdlife and local poultry by knowing what to do. If you see three or more sick or dead wild birds together, please don't touch or move them. Report them to MPI and follow the latest advice.

Jubilee Park is a great spot to take the littlies who will enjoy the original Disney look-alike characters built by the local Rotary Club!
There’s also a splash pad and family changing rooms (Open Labour Weekend through to Easter Weekend 9am to 7pm), a BBQ and plenty of shade trees.
Jubilee Park is a small, classic New Zealand family park situated on about one hectare with a playground that’s suitable for children of all ages. A great place for a family picnic.
