The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is leading New Zealand's response to H5 bird flu (H5N1). You can help protect our native birdlife and local poultry by knowing what to do. If you see three or more sick or dead wild birds together, please don't touch or move them. Report them to MPI and follow the latest advice.

An ordinary meeting of the Community Wellbeing Committee. This meeting will be held in person, however due to COVID-19 Alert Level 2 restrictions the public can attend but will be required to be masked and distant seated in the public gallery. Public Participation will be by way of written submission, which will be read out during the meeting.
