Apply for a Waiver

The District Licensing Committee may waive certain omissions (something that has been neglected or not completed) under section 208 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

Please note:

  • a waiver must be approved by the Chair of the District Licensing Committee before an Alcohol Licensing application can be processed; and
  • there is no guarantee that the waiver will be approved by the Chair of the District Licensing Committee and that, if it is not approved, the Alcohol Licensing application will not proceed.
