Meet the Candidates brought to you by Horowhenua Chronicle and hosted by Rob Webb. All candidates invited to speak - questions for mayoral candidates at the end.

Doors open at 5pm for a 5.30pm start.

About Rob Webb

After 46 years’ involvement in radio including almost four decades at Wellington’s Newstalk ZB, Rob has seen more than 30 local and general elections.

He says “The Horowhenua District is experiencing aspects of growth, including in population which brings its own set of challenges. It’s a great place to live and has experienced higher-than-average voter turnout.

Judging by the last two of these events I have hosted, the Meet the Candidates evening is always one of the Horowhenua Chronicle’s best-supported local initiatives, so with some big issues and passionate candidates, I’m looking forward to some lively discussion!”
