Households with small amounts of asbestos-contaminated sand can take it to the Foxton Transfer Station in a sealed container for free disposal from Thursday to Monday. Do not put the sand in your bin, bag, or with other rubbish. People with large amounts of contaminated sand can call Central Demolition on 0800 344 421 and it will be removed free of charge.
