".... It came without ribbons, it came without tags. It came without packages, boxes, or bags. Maybe Christmas (he thought) doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more!" - Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Join us for a day of festive family fun. This year's theme is 'Grinchy Christmas', with prizes to be won!

Santa's Christmas Parade

4pm - Santa’s Parade is up first where some spectacular floats cruise down Oxford Street (State Highway 1). The Parade will begin from York Street, travel along Oxford Street, and finish by turning into Durham Street.

Come and join in the festivities.

Accessible Zones

At both the Christmas Parade and the Carnival we'll have zones where those members of our community who would usually find going to these events challenging to attend, can come and have seating areas provided for them so they can sit back and enjoy. The zones provide parking close to the Parade, with accessible seating with space for wheelchairs and mobility devices and a comfortable area for assistance dogs.

Registrations for the Accessibility Zones are essential to ensure there is enough space and chairs. If you would like space in the Accessibility Zones, please email

Float registrations

The cut off for registering a float was 5pm on Monday, 23 November 2020.

The finale to end the night will be the countdown and the flicking on of the magical Christmas lights at approximately 9.10pm. The lights will operate through to mid-January so be sure to come back and visit the lights again.

"Twinkle twinkle little light
Shining in the Park so bright.
Bring your friends, and a picnic too,
A simple Christmas just for you.
As the stars come out to play,
The Christmas lights come on to finish the day."
