Resident Satisfaction Survey 2018 underway

Horowhenua District Council is undertaking its annual Resident Satisfaction Survey to find out what residents and ratepayers think of the services and facilities provided to the community.

The survey is available for any Horowhenua resident or ratepayer to complete and submit online. The survey page link can be found on the home page of Council’s website.

In addition, randomly selected residents will be offered the chance to complete the survey by telephone. Phone calls will be made between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from Tuesday 15 May to Thursday 7 June. All telephone numbers have been randomly selected from the White Pages phone directory.

Council has commissioned a group from Waiopehu College to conduct the telephone survey, for the fifth year in a row. The group includes College students and parents who are using the opportunity to fundraise towards a group trip to Japan next year.

Council’s Chief Executive David Clapperton encouraged residents to complete the survey.

“Feedback from the Resident Satisfaction Survey is one of the key mechanisms Council uses to measure whether we’re meeting the targets in our Annual Plan.

“It’s an important way for Council to gain a picture of what is working well for our community and what could be improved.”
