Liverpool Street, Levin - Water Reticulation Pipe Renewal Project

No longer on display. Expired on June 30, 2023, 12:00 PM

The existing Liverpool Street, Levin water main will be renewed to improve the network performance, enhance functionality, and ensure a better, safer, and more reliable water network.

Work will begin on Monday 21 November 2022. Motorists are advised that stop-go signs will operate until the project is completed. Working hours will be from 7am to 6pm each week day. Work is expected to be completed by 14 July 2023.

Access to entrances and exits on Liverpool Street, from house number 105 to 157, may be restricted - affected businesses and residents will be advised beforehand.

A short period of water interruption may occur, due to the connection of the new water main pipe to the existing main pipe. Affected businesses and residents will be advised before this takes place.

The Liverpool Street water reticulation renewal project is part of Council’s water reticulation renewals programme. Renewal of the existing pipe will enhance functionality, ensure sufficient capacity and reliable water supply performance.
