Our district is experiencing ample amounts of growth, and it's not slowing down! We're looking for an experienced individual to join our Consents Team as a Building Advisory Officer. In this role, you'll be processing building consent applications, inspecting and certifying consented works all while providing great customer service to our community. Our team works collaboratively and you'll support your peers with solving problems using your working knowledge and previous experience in our industry.

He kōrero mōu - About you

Being customer focused, you'll be a great communicator and bring a positive approach to your work. You'll bring your keen eye for details when reviewing design plans and specifications. Having knowledge of building controls and the industry is key, as well as having the right qualification listed under Regulation 18 of the Building Regulations (Accreditation of Building Consent Authorities) 2006.

We're open to you holding competencies around Building Inspection only and Competencies around processing only.
