Anyone can make a submission by either filling out an online form or by filling out the downloadable print form (which can also be picked up from and delivered to our service centres).

Hard copy submissions can be:

Submitters should advise whether they wish to be heard at the Hearings Committee Meeting which will be scheduled after the consultation period has closed. Submitters are advised that pursuant to the Local Government Act 2002 and subject to the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, all submissions shall be made available to the public.
Submission forms and the Statement of Proposal are available at the Council Offices in Levin (126 Oxford Street or Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō), Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom, Foxton or Shannon Library, Plimmer Terrace Shannon. Copies may also be obtained by telephoning Council’s Customer Service Centre, Levin, on 06 366 0999.
Submissions must be received no later than 5pm on Sunday 19 December 2021.
