Vibrant Communities Grant
The Horowhenua Vibrant Communities Grant aims to support one-off celebratory, educational, competitive, commemorative or exhibitive projects and events that help specific community groups to celebrate their identity and share them with the wider community.
These projects and events must also contribute to the Horowhenua District Council’s Strong Communities Ngā Hapori Kia Kaha – Community Wellbeing Strategy 2021-2024. The vision of this strategy is for Horowhenua to be a safe, vibrant, inclusive and connected community.
$20,000 will be available in two funding rounds from the Horowhenua Vibrant Communities Grant.
The 2022-2023 financial year funding rounds that will be available this year are:
- Round 1 opens 1 August 2022 and closes at 5pm on the 31 August 2022, (Note: Round 1 projects cannot begin before November 2022)
- Round 2 opens 1 February 2023 and closes at 5pm on the 28 February 2023, (Note: Round 2 projects cannot begin before May 2023).
