Horowhenua District Council's fees and charges for the 2022/2023 financial year, adopted by Council on 22 June 2022, are available below.

All fees are stated as GST inclusive and are effective from 1 July 2022. Council reserves the right to review any fees and charges at any time. Please check with Council for any updates.

Fire Hazards

Please note: Emergency Management fire hazard removal (which includes long grass mowing), advice and assessment is provided by Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ).

You can submit a Fire Hazard Assessment request on the Fire and Emergency New Zealand website.
