The Horowhenua District Council is the territorial local authority for an area located between the Kapiti Coast and Palmerston North. Our region is bordered by the Tararua Ranges to the east and the Tasman Sea to the west and includes a number of small towns and growing beach communities.
At the Council we have a major role to play in managing unprecedented growth and fostering development and community well-being in the Horowhenua. In April 2007 we relocated the Head Office to a purpose built facility in central Levin.
