Rural Kerbside Recycling Collection Days

Collection days for the Kerbside Rural Recycling are shown below.  Horowhenua District Council rubbish bags will be collected the same day as the recycling collection.

Due to the density of housing and the isolation of some roads and houses, not all rural roads or the entire length of some rural roads will receive the kerbside services.  State Highways pose too much of a Health and Safety risk to contractors and therefore were not considered for the expanded collection service.

Residents who have a contract with a wheelie bin company will be advised by their provider if there are any changes to their collection day.
