On Licence
An On Licence allows you to sell and supply liquor on your premises for consumption on your premises.

Off Licence
An Off Licence allows you to sell or deliver liquor from the licensed premises for consumption off the premise.

Club Licence
A Club Licence allows you to sell and supply liquor to a member of your club, a member's guest if signed in and accompanied by the member of your club, or a member of a club with reciprical visiting rights, for consumption on the club premises.

BYO On Licence
A BYO On Licence allows the consumption of liquor in a licensed restaurant by any person who is there for the purpose of dining, if the liquor is brought to the restaurant by that person or any other person dining with that person.

Special Licence
This is a licence for a function, event or a series of functions or events, for example a sports function, festival or a market. Where you are selling alcohol either directly or via pre-sold tickets, you should apply for a Special Licence. If in doubt, please contact the Liquor Licensing Inspector.

Certificates
General Manager's Certificate
A General Managers Certificate allows a person to manage a premise that holds any of the above licences. At least one person must be on the premises with this certificate at all times that a premise is open for the sale or supply of liquor.

Club Manager's Certificate
A Club Managers Certificate allows the person to manage a premise with a Club Licence or a Special Licence only. Again, there must be someone on the premises with a certificate at all times that liquor is being sold or supplied.
