Public Halls

The Horowhenua District Council supplies and maintains the following public halls for the community's use:

Levin Memorial Hall

Location: Queen/Chamberlain Streets, Levin
Usage: Large functions, public meetings
Facilities: Large hall, kitchen, bar, supper/meeting room, toilet, stage with side areas.

Shannon Memorial Hall

Location: Grey Street, Shannon.
Available for: Medium functions, public meetings.
Facilities: Hall, kitchen, supper room, toilets, stage with changing rooms and toilets (male and female)

Foxton Memorial Hall

Location: Clyde/Main Street, Foxton.
Available for: Large functions, public meetings.
Facilities: Large hall, kitchen, supper room, meeting room, toilets, stage with changing rooms.

Okunui Hall

Location: Okuku Road, Rural.
Available for: Small functions, public meetings.
Facilities: Small hall, kitchen, toilets.

Mangaore Hall

Location: Mangahou Road, Mangaore Village.
Available for: Small functions, public meetings.
Facilities: Small hall, kitchen, small meeting room, toilets.

Community Halls

The following Community Halls are available for use:

Manakau Community Hall

Location:  Mokena Kohere Street, Manakau Village.
Available for: Functions, public meetings, weddings.
Facilities: Hall, kitchen, supper room, toilets.
