Application for Project Information Memorandum (PIM) and/or Building Consent or Amendment to Building Consent
This application form incorporates all requirements that were previously contained in our Building Consent Application Pack. All parts are to be completed and submitted along with two (2) copies of all required plans and supporting documents.

Application for Building Consent - Heating Appliance Only
This application form incorporates all requirements that were previously contained in our Building Consent Application Pack for Woodburners or Solid Fuel Heating Appliances. All parts are to be completed and submitted along with two (2) copies of all required plans and the required fees.

Record of Exemption for Building Work Consent Application Form
Under Schedule 1 of the Building Act 2004, some defined work can be done without a Building Consent. There may be occasions when you would like this work recorded against your property file. If this is the case, an assessment is made by Council Officers. Use this form to apply.

Extend Commencement of Work Date Application Form
Once a consent has been issued building work must commence within twelve (12) months of the date of issue. If it does not, the consent will lapse and a new consent must be applied for unless an extension of further time to commence work has been applied for and approved by the Building Consent Authority. Use this form to apply for an extension.

Extend Code Compliance Certificate Issue Date Application Form
A Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) must be applied for as soon as practicable after the completion of the work. The Building Consent Authority must decide whether to issue a CCC within twenty (20) days of either the receipt of the CCC application form or twenty-four (24) months from the date of issue of the consent if no CCC application is received. If you wish to extend the 24 month period from the date of issue of the consent, please use this form to apply.

Cancellation of a Building Consent Request
An application can be made to cancel your Building Consent providing that no work has yet commenced. Use this form to apply to cancel your Building Consent.

Application for Certificate for Public Use
A Certificate of Public Use is applied for prior to the commencement of work in public accessible buildings, and is issued by the Territorial Authority if satisfied on reasonable grounds that the public can use the premise or part (as the case may be) safely, during the period of building work that affects the premise.
