Youth Scholarships
In 2004 the Youth Council initiated the Youth Scholarships to encourage youth in the community with Sport, the Arts and Academic Achievements. These have now been running for a number of years with recipients over a range of activities being acknowledged by receiving a scholarship to help acheive or further their goals. In 2010 a further five scholarships of $200 for Community Service were introduced. These scholarships were for 12-24 year-olds who demonstrated a high level of commitment and contribution to our community and were nominated by an adult.
